Dreams FC celebrate their return to the Ghana top-flight

Dreams FC returned to the Ghana top-flight on Sunday after their emphatic 3-0 win over Okwahu United sealed them a place in the Premier League.

The Still Believe lads return to the country’s flagship competition at the first attempt, just one season after they were demoted from the top-flight.

Their win over Asase Aban ensured that they cannot be caught by second-placed Heart of Lions who dropped points on Saturday.

Dreams sealed their return to top-flight soccer following Heart of Lions’ loss to Young Wise in the Zone’s match.

The Kweiman based side become the second club to seal their place in the top-flight for next season after Karela United secured their place earlier this month.

Ghanaian international Andre Ayew is now available after a brief stoppage due to illness. That’s what West Ham United manager David Moyes said before the game against Leicester City. Moyes, who was recently named head of the Hammers, said Ayew missed the match last weekend against Watford due to illness.

« Andre Ayew was sick, » Moyes told reporters on Thursday.

« It was not so bad but it took a few days to find its mark, » continued the former Manchester United manager.

« He’s back among us, which is good, » added Moyes.

Ayew, 27, has played 10 league games for the Hammers this season. The midfielder will seek to inspire West Ham to victory, which would allow the London-based team to leave the relegation zone.

He made the football star strong. He made his heart speak. He offered each Cameroonian citizen out of the hell of Libya the sum of one million five hundred thousand CFA francs.
