Chelsea rebel, Diego Costa reportedly seeks payment of a loyalty bonus as part of his legal action against the Blues.
Meanwhile, the Spanish international risks a fine which is in the range of £300,000 at Stamford Bridge, according to report.
Reports have emerged, suggesting that the attacker faces a fine of that fee after allegedly failing to return to training.
Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte informed Costa via SMS that he was not in the Italian tactician’s plans for this campaign.
Atletico Madrid then had numerous transfer links with a move for the Spanish striker straight away during this summer window.
However, Los Colchoneros manager, Diego Simeone could no longer go ahead with the summer move for Costa due to a ban.
That is after the Court of Arbitration for Sport decided to uphold the transfer ban they imposed on Los Colchoneros.
As a result of this, though, the club from the Spanish capital can’t register any new player until January, 2018.
Despite being out of the first-team squad, Costa ought to have actually made a return to training sometimes last week.
Costa goes AWOL
But the prolific attacker has instead been having a series of parties back in his native Brazil, according to pictures.
In a snap he shared on social media, Costa costumed as a clown, performing tricks as part of a circus show.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have reportedly expressed worries that Costa may have spoilt his opportunity of a summer transfer from the club.
And that is by the Spaniard seemingly piling on the pounds during his long holiday.
Meanwhile, an aggrieved Costa is reportedly making serious plans to plot legal action against Chelsea.
And that is for the manner in which the West London outfit have ousted him from the first team set-up.
According to a valid report emanating from The Mirror, part of Costa’s claim is for Chelsea to pay ‘loyalty’ bonus.
The demand comes despite the striker currently being away from Chelsea in his original native, Brazil without official leave (AWOL).
Costa also admitted publicly a few number of times during the 2016/17 season he would love to join another club.
He last played for Chelsea in May, getting the only goal as they surrendered the FA Cup to rivals, Arsenal.
